For brand new RO membranes, for drinking and food-related purpose, membrane must be flushed first for at least 2 hours (preferably 4 hrs), during which period the water produced must be discarded. What is the life time of RO Membranes? Our suggestion is 2 years for most tap water (200-500ppm). If you buy from us your RO machine and membrane it can take longer to replace since our RO machines are equip with automtic membrane cleaning or flushing this prolongs membrane life and maintain water output quality to its highest configuration. If your membrane produce higher TDS than before then its time to replace membrane. NOTES ➡Please allow 1-3mm error due to manual measurement.
