Privacy policy

This page explains what information PresyoPeek collects when you use this website, why, and who else may receive it. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the site.

What we collect

Outbound click records. When you click a button to visit a store, we record the product you clicked, the time, the page you came from, your browser's user-agent text, and a shortened one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself in our database. We use these records to see which products are popular and to check affiliate reports.

Hosting logs. Our hosting providers (see below) keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is normal for any website.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and we use it only to reply.

What we don't do

We don't have user accounts, we don't run advertising networks, and we don't sell your personal information. This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page first.

Cookies

We don't set cookies ourselves for tracking. When you click through to a store, the store and its affiliate network may set their own cookies so that a purchase can be credited to us. Those cookies are controlled by them, under their own policies.

Other companies involved

Hosting and data storage: the website, API and database run on third-party services (Vercel, Render and Supabase). They process data on our behalf to keep the site running.

Stores and affiliate networks: when you leave this site for a store, their privacy policies apply to what happens there.

Product images: product pictures are loaded from the stores' own servers, so your browser contacts those servers (and they may see your IP address) when an image is displayed.

How long we keep data

We keep click records only as long as they're useful for the purposes above, and then delete or anonymise them. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you additional rights. Because we store only a hashed form of your IP address, we may not be able to link click records back to you, but we'll do what we reasonably can. To make a request, email hello@presyopeek.com.

Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy
