Once Cement has been applied to both surfaces, dry time refers to how long you must leave the two surfaces separated in order to allow the solve in the glue to evaporate. Humidity can affect dry time. For best results, before applying Cement be sure that the materials are clean and dry. It can also be beneficial to lightly sand the material, but be sure to not leave any dust behind. What is Open Time? Open Time refers to the amount of time that pieces can be left out with glue on them, before they are put together and bonded. Once the items are bonded together, it will take roughly 1-2 minutes for the glue to cure. If open time ever extends past the suggested length of open time, Barge recommends applying heat to the glue (ex: hair dryer). This will help to revive the adhesive if it has been left out too long so that you can then bond the materials successfully. —— Clean both surface to be reglue using cotton balls with acetone to remove the old adhesive as much as possible. (better use sand paper if you use superglue or rugby before Apply thin even coat of barge on both surface using aspreader. let the barge dries up to 15-20mins. Apply 2nd coat and dries up again up to 15-20mins. (for much stronger recommended forfull reglue) Heat the surface with barge using a blower or heatgun until wet or bubble.. Bond both sides and hard press for 1-2 mins. clamp if needed. Let it cure for 12-24hrs. before using the shoe.
